Cleveland Noel's 1963 Fairlane 500
· We recently got the car from a guy in NC for a bargain of $7500. I believe the paint and body work was done by a guy in Ohio, and the guy we bought it from got it from the guy in Ohio and fixed up the drive train. It's got a 200ci straight-6 from a '67 Mustang and a T-5 5-speed manual transmission from a later-model mustang (probably a foxbody). The interior is in almost-good-as-new condition, and thankfully no one tinted the windows. The paint is pretty nice driver quality, which is fitting since the car is just that -- a driver. I intend to stick with this car for a good long time! Really, why drive a boring, ugly new car which costs more and which will only depreciate in value until it's worthless? Not me!
