· I purchased the car in July of 2005. When I purchased the car I was told it came from George. When I torn it down in winter of 2006,
I found a lot of rust. I found a second Torino to sacifrice for pieces and parts along with wiring and dash. Well after three years of welding in new panels and making changes, the car is back together (I retired in 2007). New floor pans, frame connectors, rebuilt "torque tower", quarter panels and a lot of cleaning up. I have learned that the engine and transmission have been changed. This winter I plan to pull engine and rebuild it. I have really enjoyed this project. I am thankful that I can do most of the work myself. The only thing I have not done is final body work and paint, also upholstery front seats.
