Steve Souza's 63 Fairlane 500

My name is Steve Souza, and I am from Ringoes, NJ.
My '63 Fairlane 500 has 47,000 original miles. I am the thrid owner of the car. I am biuilding the car as a restomod with the objective of having a dependable car for cruising, but can be driven hard when I want to. These are all the mods that I have made to date.

The engine is relatively stock with the only modifications being an upgraded Pertronix distributor & Pertronix high capacity coil. Also got rid of mechanical fuel pump and replaced it with an electric fuel pump. Has Flowmaster dual exhaust system. Transmission is stock 2 speed Fordomatic.

Brakes have been upgraded using a SSBC front disk brake package, including new dual chamber master cylinder. Wheels are 16" x 7" Torque Thrust IIs with 4" backspacing riding on 225/50/ZR16 Kumho tires.

Floor pans, doors and trunk fitted with CAE sound deading and heat insulation material. Interior refurbished, stocks seats recovered in two-tone ultraleather, custom made door panels, trunk panels, package tray and arm rests. New carpeting. New stereo consisting of Panasonic head unit and Sony xplode speakers. I have replaced almost all the interior and exterior rubber pieces and weather stripping.

Replaced stock headlights with halogen units and also installed driving lights.
