Tom Ciccarelli's 1967 Fairlane 500 Convertible
· Bought in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio April 3,1967. According to the warranty card they gave me, but I spotted it in March. it was sitting in front of the dealership. I had to convince my father to co-sign. He did and and I promised to take good care of it. Well you can see for your self. By the mid seventies my new wife told me that I could not get rid of it for our upcoming marriage. She said that it was already a family member by then. So after a major cleaning from sittin for a few years we have been on top of it ever since. Even a well kept car needs attention. It is a low miler with some touch up performed on lower sections,Finally a new top in 2003. Touch up under hood, to remove flaking paint, and regular maintenance. It has original brakes which have been bled so many times I can't remember. Its regulator and alt are still functioning. The clock doesn't work but I plan to rectify that, it quit about 20 years ago. I am afraid to wax it much more I think its wearing thin, besides water beads up so much its easy to keep clean.
