1966 r code 427 fairlane ,it ran super stock in the 1960s , and was driven & owened by [ ted wells ] it has 300 original miles on it 1/4 mile at a time
The R CODE Fairlane , has an all aluminum 500 ci, Brain Mcdevitt engine and
runs in the NMCA Nostalgia Super Stock - A clsss. I'am a 66 year old rookie . but i have never enjoyed any thing more , the best time the car has turnred is a 9.47----149 mph , but mostly in the 10.00 range. The rear is a 9 in ford with a 5.14 gear , and a C4 tranie. NMCA racing series has a 10.50 tire rule so i go by there wishes.
