Comments:
I replaced the front springs in my 390 car due to alum heads, intake, water pump, removing PS and A/C. Calculated new weight about same as 289 auto with no other options. Brought front down out of clouds and about stock height. Also, don't use big aftermarket sway bars on these FE cars. They hit the oil filter.

Comments:
428 w/Edelbrock heads/intake/waterpump, so went to 289 front springs given weight drop. 275/60 rears are as big as I can fit w/the stock wells and custom backspacing & leaf spring drop. They fit really nice but snug, so changing tires means dropping the rear end to get easy access - which is pretty easy as I\'ve found.
